Football Theme! We encourage cookers to wear their favorite team jerseys (MN Vikings, WDC Wolverines, etc.) to add some fun to the event. Or “represent” your business, group or civic organization by wearing their apparel!

New Categories! Spiciest, Most Unique and Best-All Around Chili will be determined by a panel of judges from out of town (Mayors of Bluffton, Deer Creek, Verndale, etc.).

People’s Choice! The public will still vote for their favorite chili and the winner will be awarded the traveling trophy. Plans are to tally the votes that evening and announce winners Thursday night. Each winner will receive a framed certificate to display in their business for bragging rights!

NEW! $20 entry fee for each chili participant. This fee will be donated to the Princess Warrior Fund. Their 5K event is Saturday, Sept. 30 at Tapley Park. This a wonderful way to tie the Chili Cook Offwith the Princess Warrior 5K. It’s great cause that supports kids fighting cancer from our community and surrounding communities.
