A Look Back as We Plan Ahead
The June Jubilee Committee is hard at work reviewing ideas and shaping the 2026 schedule. As we build out this year’s celebration, it’s helpful to look back at the traditions, favorites, and community moments that made last year such a success. Below is a sample of the events that were part of the 2025 June Jubilee lineup ... a snapshot of the energy, creativity, and hometown pride that continue to guide our planning for the year ahead.
FRIDAY, JUNE 13
7:30-10am - Town & Country Breakfast at The Depot. Sponsored by Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union. Freewill offering. Veterans and spouses free of charge.
9am-5pm - June Jubilee Arts & Marketplace at East BN Park. Over 45 vendors!
11am - Flag Raising Ceremony in BN Park. All are welcome! Sponsored by Schuller Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services and The Boondocks Cafe & Catering.
12-7pm - Food trucks featuring One Trick Pony, Dang That’s Good!, Baby’s Bagels, 2M Fiesta, Dutchkins, The Ice Cream Truck and Coffee 33 along Aldrich Avenue.
12-3pm - Joah’s Ark petting zoo! Enjoy a variety of animals in BN Park West. From llamas to pigs to bunnies and more! $2 feed cups.
12-3pm - Top Gun Fun inflatables for kiddos! Supervised fun in BN Park West. Free.
1:15-2pm - Comedian DonB! mixes comedy with unicycles, juggling and the art of illusion! He is a two-time national unicycling champion who has worked with the Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Circus. Bring the whole family and your lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy this FREE family fun entertainment in BN Park.
3-9:30pm - Beer and Spirits Garden featuring Wadena VFW, Drastic Measures Brewing and Little Round Still at BN Park.
5:30-6:30pm - 2nd annual Wadena Area’s Got Talent Show at BN Park. Sponsored by Lunde Auto Sales. Deadline to register your talent is Monday, June 3. Email chamber@wadenacoc.com for form. Talent Show admission $5 adults, 13 under free.
7-10pm - June Jubilee Outdoor Concert featuring The Fabulous Armadillos in BN Park. Tickets just $10. Enjoy a fun evening of music and getting together with friends to dance the night away!

1:30pm - Nickel Dig in West BN Park. Open to kids 5 and under. $100 in nickels donated by Wadena State Bank.
2-4pm - Kiddie Carnival at West BN Park. Outdoor games and goodies, face painting by Beth Kern, and more. Register for kiddie parade too. Many sponsors for this fun youth activity!
2-4pm - Hoot & Toot on Aldrich Ave. Visit with law enforcement, fire, ambulance, DNR, and National Guard vehicles and staff. Stickers, goodies and more!
1-5pm - Caricatures by Doug Curtis in BN Park. $5 per face.
5:45pm - June Jubilee Kiddie Parade! Line-up at Steve’s Alignment begins at 5:305pm with Nette Nelson, kiddie parade coordinator.
6pm - June Jubilee Grand Parade! Line-up begins at 4:30 p.m. behind M|State. Pre-registration is required. Forms available at the Chamber or by emailing chamber@wadenacoc.com. Free of charge.
9-Midnight - June Jubilee Street Dance featuring No Excuses classic rock cover band. Free admission!
Dusk / about 10pm - Grand Finale’ Fireworks! Sponsored by Wadena Fire Department Relief Association. Rocket Club will take a 15-minute intermission for the fireworks so everyone at the concert can enjoy!
