This year’s June Jubilee will proudly honor our nation as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This historic milestone invites us to pause, reflect on the journey that shaped our country, and look ahead with hope and purpose.
As we commemorate this moment in our nation’s story, we also celebrate our own community ... the people, places, and traditions that make Wadena such a wonderful place to live, work, and visit. June Jubilee has always been about connection, pride, and shared joy, and this year’s theme brings even deeper meaning to that tradition.
Together, we’ll honor the past, celebrate the present, and look toward the future of our town as we gather for a weekend filled with community spirit and hometown pride.

The June Jubilee Committee is hard at work reviewing ideas and shaping the 2026 schedule. As we build out this year’s celebration, it’s helpful to look back at the traditions, favorites, and community moments that made last year such a success. Friday, June 12 — Time Machine
Get ready to rock the night away with Time Machine, a high‑energy tribute project performing three full sets, each from a different genre. It’s essentially three tribute bands in one night!
The evening will feature:
70’s Arena Rock (Rock City)
80’s Pop (Pop Starz)
80’s Hair Bands (Hair Force)
A dance‑friendly, nostalgia‑packed kickoff to the weekend.
Saturday, June 13 — Aaron Simmons
On Saturday, we welcome home Wadena’s favorite country grandson, Aaron Simmons!
We all know and love Aaron, and we’re thrilled to bring his full band back to the town where his roots run deep. Every return trip with Aaron is a memory in the making — and this homecoming performance will be no exception.
