PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!
Due to the projected weather on Saturday, April 4, the Wadena Easter Egg Hunt is moving indoors to the WDC High School Gym.
The hunt will still begin at 1 p.m., and doors open at noon so families have plenty of time to get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny!
The Easter Bunny can’t wait to meet the kids, share some smiles, and keep the fun going right here in Wadena, snow or shine.

The Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce invites all local and area businesses, civic groups, schools, and community members walk through or to enter a float or vehicle and join the annual Holiday Parade of Lights on Friday, December 5.
Decorate and dazzle the crowd with lots of lights on your entry and also include some holiday music! We have invited Santa to join us for the parade, so please DO NOT include a Santa with your parade unit (an inflatable Santa is OK).
After the parade, join us at The Depot for hot chocolate, treats and a visit with Santa Claus.
Parade date and start: Friday, December 5 at 6 p.m.
All parade units must be in place by 5:30 p.m. behind M State. There is no official line-up this year. All entries will be placed as they arrive.
ABSOLUTELY NO tossing of candy from units allowed! You may walk and hand items, but no tossing.
Parade route will start behind M State, then east on Franklin, north on 2nd St. SW, finish at BN Park.
Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Depot after the parade.
NEW THIS YEAR: Tree lighting ceremony with Santa in Burlington Northern Park 30 minutes after the parade ends to allow for time for everyone to travel to the park.
Cost: FREE!
Register online today! https://forms.gle/g98wXEAgWKX1vfBz8
When you register, share the registration with a friend! Challenge a business or a friend to enter the parade or donate to the Chamber! It's a fun way to motivate everyone to participate.
In addition to the Parade of Lights, we encourage those houses on the parade route to deck the halls! Get in the holiday spirit and show off your lights as the parade passes your homes. What if you don't live on the route? No problem! Let's light up the community with holiday cheer. We're excited to be incorporating a bit more light into our lives Friday, December 5 with the Parade of Lights, lighting the trees in the park and lighting up the homes of those who wish to get in the holiday spirit.
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
